The Fractional Ownership arm of Real Estate (a way for investors to invest in Real Estate with small ticket size and co-own a property) has seen many platforms rise in the past 3 years
Now, SEBI wants to ensure that investors are protected while investing in such assets through these platforms
So, SEBI has suggested the regulation of such platforms as a measure to safeguard small investors
"The lack of standard, uniform selling practices and lack of independent valuation, or of diligence of information or materials provided to potential investors could result in investors falling prey to mis-selling," said SEBI, the nation's market regulator, in the discussion paper late on Friday.
The opening of Dwarka Expressway in Gurgaon is expected to increase the prices of real estate in the region by 30-40%, according to developers and brokerage firm.
“The real estate market is abuzz about the Dwarka Expressway opening. The government’s focus on the infrastructure development and the seamless connectivity it provides to the Delhi, Gurgaon, and Manesar region have made this area one of the most sought-after micro-markets of Delhi NCR, attracting both investors and end users alike.”
